PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

The Costaș, Negru & Asociații lawyers’ civil partnership encourages, even during university studies, the carrying out of professional practice activities. In this respect, our firm collaborates with students’ associations (especially ELSA – European Law Students’ Association) and is willing to involve in the professional practice programmes organised by the “Babeș-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Law. In time, we collaborated through the Romanian National Bar Association with the National Institute of Magistracy in order to support the practice programme of auditors of justice.

During the activity of professional practice, our goal is to assure the students’ familiarisation with the benchmarks of a law firm’s activity, in various stages (the preparing and administrating of a legal case, drawing up and filing of judicial and procedural documents, communicating with natural and legal persons who choose our services, handling legal issues with different degrees of complexity, carrying out of substantive research in order to ensure the theoretical and practical support in the activity of legal assistance and representation, development of the legal pleading).

In some cases, the success of a professional practice cycle can also be expressed by the financing, through a private scholarship contract, of one or more students who share our firm’s values, have remarkable abilities and are professionally oriented to follow a career as a lawyer.

CAREERS

The Costaș, Negru & Asociații team finds itself in a continuous expansion and is encouraging the recruiting of new lawyers willing to contribute in time to the development of the firm’s professional force. Without assessing in any way the quality of other Faculties of Law’s graduates, we prefer to collaborate with graduates of the “Babeș-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Law, whom we consider closer in training to our professional profile.

We believe that a good lawyer must have a balanced and solid professional background which allows the approaching of a wide palette of legal issues. Equally, a good lawyer must have the availability and energy that are necessary in order to involve in complex and stimulating projects, at national and European level, within a team of law professionals.
